Megan Black: International Showcase Fund

Name of the showcase: Tallinn Music Week 2025

Short Project Title: Megan Black – Tallinn Music Week Showcase and Europe Tour

Biog: Megan Black is an award-winning artist based in Scotland creating music influenced by ’70’s rock. Megan will be releasing her most established, personal, and developed project this year in the form of a new album defining her life growing up queer in a small town and reflecting on her late teens in early 20’s. After pitching a demo of this album, Megan is among only a handful of UK based artists who have been selected to perform at the international showcasing festival ‘Tallinn Music Week’. This will be a great opportunity for Megan to engage with new fans, grow her network, and take the next steps in her professional career. Megan has been funded by the PRS foundation to allow her to perform at Tallinn Music Week, and engage in opportunities across Europe including performing at new shows, playing live sessions, and writing/collaborating with new artists. This is an incredible opportunity for Megan which wouldn’t be possible without the support from PRS. We look forward to sharing the benefits this funding has had with you all throughout this year!
