Employed To Serve: Momentum

Employed To Serve’s trajectory to-date has been explosive. Two bedroom-crafted EP’s (released by Jay Randall from Agoraphobic Nosebleed on Grindcore Karaoke) preceded 2014’s full-band EP, ‘Change Nothing, Regret Everything’ which also marked the beginning of their relationship with Holy Roar Records. Their debut album ‘Greyer Than You Remember’, released last year found it’s place amongst many top album lists and received radio play across the world.

Embroiling a DIY work ethic, they have now played almost 200 gigs throughout Europe in just over two years, sharing the stage with band such as: Funeral For A Friend, Rolo Tomassi, Full Of Hell, Biohazard and Code Orange.

Employed To Serve return to the studio to record the follow up of ‘Greyer Than You Remember’ this winter and will once again be recorded and mixed by Lewis Johns (Gnarwolves, Funeral For A Friend, Rolo Tomassi) and mastered by Brad Boatright (Sunn o))), Converge, Integrity) this second album will be placed in safe hands. The next 12 months are set to be the most exciting months of the band’s career.

The Momentum Music Fund will help fund the release of their 2nd full length album; studio time, mixing and mastering, as well as the creation of the album and merchandise artwork. It will also fund music videos to help promote the album and a PR campaign for print, online and TV, and UK tours in support of the album.
