Lonely The Brave: Momentum
In their relatively short existence, Cambridge’s Lonely The Brave have performed live at Maida Vale Studios for Dan P Carter’s Radio 1 Rock Show, built up a dedicated following and sold out shows across the region, and taken plaudits from the likes of Rock Sound, Classic Rock and Kerrang! Writing anthemic, epic songs devoid of scene or outside influence from their peers, the band have recently recorded a session for Zane Lowe at the legendary Maida Vale studios.
“Lonely The Brave could be the biggest band on the planet. Fact.” Rock Sound
“Their vocalist has a mammoth arena-filling voice and it will only be a matter of time before they do so.” Huffington Post
“They’re the real deal, and their singer could be the new Eddie Vedder.” The Fly
“They’re a curiosity to a lot of people, but that’s a magic and exciting time. If you’re a fan, hold onto them tightly – If you’re not, you will be.” Zane Lowe
The band will be using their funding to support their UK touring and promotion in 2014.
Lonely the Brave told us:
“We’re very grateful to the Momentum fund for the invaluable help they will give us going into 2014. All we’ve ever wanted to do is tour the songs, and get our music out there to people, and with this help we finally feel able to. With so many other talented acts applying, it means all the more that we have been chosen.”
