ROM: Momentum
20 year old, Birmingham raised producer ROM aka Rommel is quickly establishing his sound in a very competitive online music world. His passion for music from an early age & talents as a multi-instrumentalist led ROM into creating fresh emotive sounds. Connecting with like-minded producers at the forefront of the future sound ROM has worked with Deffie, IAMNOBODI & DA-P to create slick RnB tracks complimented by clean percussion sections.
With online support continuing to grow, 2016 saw ROM take on a number of remixes, which further gained increasing notoriety throughout the music industry. A rework of Snoop Dogg’s “Beautiful” grabbed the attention of LA based creative collective, Soulection. Now working with the record label’s white label series ROM released a three track EP with guest vocals from Emmavie. ROM has been writing with a number of artists in the UK. At the end of 2016 he will be dropping a collaborative project with Deffie, before focusing on his solo ep.
The funding will be used to fund ROMs ep and small run of Uk tours.
