Stillhound: Momentum

Stillhound, consisting of Fergus Cook, Laurie Corlett-Donald and Dave Lloyd, formed after the dissolution of their previous project Discopolis in 2015. Releasing a string of singles before their first full length album, Stillhound garnered plays on BBC 6 Music, Amazing Radio and BBC Scotland amongst others while lead single ‘Time Enough For Love’ went viral on spotify.

In March 2019 we will release our self titled sophomore album. Following on from our debut “Bury Everything’ in 2016, the album maintains our pop aesthetic whilst charting new territory with different time signatures and more complex song structures.

Alongside all the releases and touring, they worked on material in various makeshift studios around Scotland before solidifying these ideas in a small house on the shores of Loch Broom – a return to the spot where they recorded their debut. The band then returned home to finish production and mixing at their own ‘Lost Oscillation Studios’, fine tuning the record before sending it off to be mastered at Precise (Mount Kimbie, Warp Records, James Blake).

The Momentum funding for all PR based needs including: national/international radio, digital and online press, social media marketing, physical posters, online adverts etc. It will also be used it to give even more life to live shows, including budget for a UK tour around the album release, hiring of lighting, uprgading equipment.
