Hannah Scott: International Showcase Fund

From Suffolk via Italy, Hannah Scott’s distinctive voice, strong melodies and thought-provoking lyrics leave a lasting impression on her audiences. She collaborates with Stefano Della Casa, a songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist, whose influence and direction have been key to her progression as an artist.

Dermot O’Leary played Hannah’s song, ‘Hurricanes’ as part of his ‘Some Mother’s Do Indie’ feature on his Saturday afternoon Radio 2 show and he and his producers were so impressed that they invited her to do a live session the following week. Her music has also been heard on BBC 6 and praise for her work has arrived from publications such as MOJO and The Guardian. She has been Cafè Nero’s Artist of the Month on two occasions and her music is featured on their playlist as well as in Costa, Starbucks and in bars, shops and restaurants worldwide. Her arresting live performances have earned her support slots for the likes of 10cc and Seth Lakeman and shows at venues such as London’s Union Chapel.

Following interest from fans who have discovered Hannah on in-store playlists, she is pleased to be able to attend Mondo NYC to connect with key industry figures and ultimately build her profile stateside.
