Natalie Wildgoose : Women Make Music
Bio :
North Yorkshire and London-based folk artist Natalie Wildgoose is known for her hauntingly beautiful, eccentric style. Described as ‘One to watch’ by BBC Introducing she has received support from BBC Radio 1, BBC 6 Music Mixtape, Balamii Radio’s Power of Song, and NTS Radio. Performing at The London Jazz Festival, Abbey Road Studios x BBC Introducing, Wilderness Festival, IDLER Festival, The Royal Albert Hall, The Royal Academy of Arts, and LSO St Lukes to name a few. Whilst living among the wild moors of North Yorkshire, she writes timeless ghostly art-songs, reconstructed via skeletal arrangements of voice and piano.
Natalie Wildgoose: Songs From The Moors EP
In 2025, with support from PRS Women Make Music, Natalie plans to write and record a new EP of original songs in locations around North Yorkshire, such as Victorian mills, grade II listed village halls and isolated chapels in remote parts of the moors, each with its unique history and atmosphere. Inviting chamber ensembles of some of the UK’s top musicians to play on the record all whilst bringing new music to a rural area. The essence of the location recordings will be captured through trembling melodies and the warmth of analogue tape, recorded on her grandfather’s vintage Akai reel-to-reel recorder.
