Oh Yeah Music Centre (TDN 2024)
The Oh Yeah team are passionate about music and are committed to providing a supportive platform for local musicians, both emerging and established, to showcase their talents and take their music to the next level. We offer a variety of services and resources, including affordable rehearsal and recording spaces, youth and older people projects, mentoring and talent development for aspiring musicians, music tours, live gigs and more. Our goal is to create a vibrant and inclusive community where local musicians and music-lovers can connect, collaborate, and grow.
Since 2007, Oh Yeah Music Centre has provided an ‘open doors to music’ to creators taking their first steps in music to those at tipping point and beyond. We are proud members of the Talent Development Network and offer drop in advice sessions for musicians at various stages via our ASK programme plus structured longer term development programmes via Scratch My Progress plus the Women’s Work and the Sound of Belfast festival programmes that aim to educate, promote, inspire and motivate longer term output from talented creators in Northern Ireland. Oh Yeah is a fully accessible and welcoming space. We are proactive in our diversity work which includes programming to harness the full benefits of diversity.
