BalletBoyz: The Open Fund for Organisations

Teams of choreographers and composers are being commissioned to create each act of the show over a two-week period. Choreographers include Javier de Frutos, Iván Pérez and Craig Revel Horwood and composers Scott Walker and Keaton Henson. To this team of established artists BalletBoyz is adding a talented, emerging composer Charlotte Harding. 14 Days is about exploring the multiplicity of approaches to creation and the artistic team has been put together to produce a show of exceptional quality and variety.

Charlotte Harding is a composer, producer and orchestrator writing music for media and the concert hall. She’s worked with leading ensembles and soloists and has received performances of her work worldwide. Charlotte‘s music fuses her colorful musical background and classical training with a passion for live musicianship, creative approaches and high level production. Charlotte graduated from the Royal College of Music (RCM) in 2011 where she was awarded The Queen Mother Rose Bowl prize for ‘Outstanding contribution to the RCM’ as well as the RCM Cobbett and Hurlstone prize for composition. She’s been involved with numerous artistic collaborations and co-leads a project Over 100 Years of Women and the Saxophone. Charlotte‘s also committed to music for health and composes and performs music for BalletBoyz’ dance classes for people with Parkinson’s.
