Wales International Harp Festival

The Wales International Harp Festival (WIHF) is dedicated to providing performance experiences of the highest quality for the benefit of all members of the community in Wales, and to promoting the harp and its music both nationally and internationally.

New music is commissioned for the 2018 Festival as a tribute to iconic harpist Osian Ellis‘ extraordinary work in promoting and performing new music. Exciting new music will be added to the contemporary harp repertoire by four Welsh music creators; Mared Emlyn, Gwenan Gibbard, Gareth Glyn and Catrin Finch.
