For:

1:1 and Group Sessions to Support Songwriting and Production

DMF Digital/Alya Records will work closely with beginner to mid-level musicians in the North of England, providing professional guidance on writing and producing well-crafted music.

Through targeted sessions and masterclasses, led by established industry professionals (E.G. Eliot Kennedy), we will build these artists towards a professional level of creative expertise. We will provide one-to-one sessions catered to the current skill level of the artists, offering a route through to our masterclasses. We will also provide specialist mentoring regarding music production and support to ensure income streams are covered from collection agencies and/or publishers.

We will deliver informative one to one sessions with our artists to offer general guidance in keeping with their level, which will aid in progressing the artist to a level that the masterclasses and workshop events would be most beneficial. DMF Digital would like to expand the guidance available to musicians in the Sheffield City Region, to build a sustainable music economy.

The one to one sessions will be delivered weekly (48 per annum, from 09/01/17 – 22/12/17), the workshop events four times a year and the masterclasses biannually. Averaging 3 members per band, we will mentor in total 144 musicians at these sessions.

The workshop events and masterclasses will be held at modern venues such as Steelworks (Sheffield), Digital Media Centre (Barnsley) and Higher Rhythm (Doncaster), hosted by successful professionals in the relevant area. We will host 50 artists at these events, with 3 of them being offered a digital release with a full marketing plan.
