Queer/Math Experimental Chamber Ensemble He Was Eaten By Owls return to the studio to record the follow up to their successful 2016 debut Chorus 30 From Blues For The Hitchhiking Dead.

Utilizing the lens of Intersectional Feminism & Queer Theory, their highly politically motivated work focuses this time on the concepts of genetic trauma and mental illness. With composer/multi-instrumentalist Kyle Owls at the helm on guitars, second piano, pipe organ, second clarinet, field recordings and vocals; the ensemble boasts some of the finest double bassists, cellists, viola/violinists, clarinet players, trumpeters, percussionists, harpists, electronic musicians and vocalists that the UK/European underground scene has to offer. Featuring the talents of Natalie Evans, Loraine James & Sam Ashton alongside HWEBO co-founder/drummer Vilius Kancleris, as well as artists from eclectic acts such as Colin Samurai, Fara Wo, The Ginsberg Jukebox and Sol Flare.

Formed in 2012 inside London’s Anarchist/Squat scene, He Was Eaten By Owls have been amassing a steady following of dedicated fans from around the globe since graduating onto the Math/Post-Rock UK/European touring circuit, performing around the country with acts such as Space Blood, Dags!, I.This.Yes and Olympians. They are booked to play Arctangent Festival in August among a number of prospective dates scattered across the year; including potential shows in Europe and Malaysia.The new album – Inchoate With The Light Go I – is the second installment of their Inchoate Trilogy, and is due out on Fu Inle Records Summer 2017.
