He Was Eaten By Owls - Second Album Recording
Queer/Math Experimental Chamber Ensemble He Was Eaten By Owls return to the studio to record the follow up to their successful 2016 debut Chorus 30 From Blues For The Hitchhiking Dead.
Utilizing the lens of Intersectional Feminism & Queer Theory, their highly politically motivated work focuses this time on the concepts of genetic trauma and mental illness. With composer/multi-instrumentalist Kyle Owls at the helm on guitars, second piano, pipe organ, second clarinet, field recordings and vocals; the ensemble boasts some of the finest double bassists, cellists, viola/violinists, clarinet players, trumpeters, percussionists, harpists, electronic musicians and vocalists that the UK/European underground scene has to offer. Featuring the talents of Natalie Evans, Loraine James & Sam Ashton alongside HWEBO co-founder/drummer Vilius Kancleris, as well as artists from eclectic acts such as Colin Samurai, Fara Wo, The Ginsberg Jukebox and Sol Flare.
