St Magnus International Festival 2017 - Over 50 Music Creators

The music creators involved in St Magnus International Festival hugely vary in genre and career level. Our Composers’ Course is made up of 8 students of varied backgrounds largely from across the UK. A composers’ competition is open to both under 18 and over 18 groups. The Festival’s commissions and premieres (some of which are partnerships with UK and overseas partners) range from experienced, known composers to emerging artists. This year we have commissioned two strands of work locally one for large-scale community performance and one for a specialist integrated ensemble with musicians with complex learning needs both of which are local music creators.

If you’re looking to see if we’ve supported someone like you, working in your genre or region, or if you want to find out who we’ve supported through our different funding opportunities and partnership programmes, then please use the drop-down menu search tool.

If you have a specific artist, group, performer, promoter or organisation that you’re looking for, please use the ‘Search’ tool in the top right hand corner of this page. If we have supported them, this is the best way to find out about the support they’ve received from us.
