Orchestra Of The Swan: Women Make Music

In 2015 OOTS records work by Dobrinka T for Signum Classics including a new commission, ‘Highline’ for solo violin, trumpet obligato & chamber orchestra and the other works to be recorded are ‘On the South Downs’ and Centuries of Meditations for chamber choir and chamber orchestra.

‘On the South Downs’ is composed to allow students and professional to perform ‘side-by –side’ and OOTS intends recording with Birmingham Conservatoire students as part of their programme with the Conservatoire.

Orchestra of the Swan is delighted to record Dobrinka’s music as part of her two year Residency with the orchestra which is generously funded by the Sorel Organisation, New York.

The CD builds on OOTS education projects, commissions and performances with Dobrinka and will be a highly successful collaboration between three outstanding female artists and creates a valuable legacy, offering inspiration to future female soloists and composers.
