Otta EP
PRS Foundation will be funding the debut project of 19 year old Otta, a singer, writer and producer.
Her debut project will be released via her own label with the help of management at Machine known for breaking artists such as Years & Years, Clean Bandit and Rejjie Snow. By putting together a team of press and radio pluggers the help of Machine will ensure the first release is pushed out in an innovative way and capture audiences right from the beginning.
A huge aspect of this project is live touring and on releasing the EP Otta will be announcing her first London show with her band. Otta will be working alongside amazing young designers that her sound was inspired by to create artwork and videos that complete the project.
“When I am writing music the visual element is always in the forefront of my mind and I have always wanted my project to deliver this alongside the music, I really like incorporating the work of my friends as their experiences along with mine have inspired my music, the grant has allowed me to have more scope with the project as whole and I’m really excited to create something special” – Otta
