Pet Snake is the solo project of Liverpool-based songwriter Evelyn Halls (Clean Cut Kid). After years of playing and writing for others, Ev was determined to create a solo project that was honest, personal and reflective of the music that has shaped her – taking influence from all of her favourite genres from bedroom pop to alternative folk to doses of early 00’s emo.
Pet Snake is in the process of releasing her second EP with independent Leeds label Dance To The Radio, with recent singles receiving praise from BBC 6 Music’s Lauren Laverne, Huw Stephens, DIY & Spotify Editorials.
