It’s been an extremely exciting year for the 22 year old half-Congolese, half-Angolan solo artist
Yannick Ilunga, aka Petite Noir. First of all his debut single ‘Till We Ghosts’ blew up, finding big support from The Guardian, Dazed & Confused, BBC Radio 1 & Clash, whilst his second release ‘Disappear’ became a blog sensation, featuring on Pitchfork amongst many others. Then he came to London to play a sold out show, got himself a BBC Radio 1xtra residency and followed that with a stunning performance for The Boiler Room. This remarkable early momentum very quickly established him as one of the most promising new artists across the globe.
