Pit Pony: The Open Fund for Music Creators
After forming in Newcastle in 2017, Pit Pony quickly gained a reputation for their gut-punching yet melodic sound. Having made waves locally it wasn’t long before their north-eastern garage rock gained admiration from further afield . 2019 saw debut single Osaka playlisted on BBC 6 music with Mary Anne Hobbs describing the band as “A ferocious five-piece.” Having received national recognition and airplay across several singles the PRS Open Fund support will enable the band to record and adequately promote their much anticipated debut album.
