Prangers : Open Fund for Music Creators

Prangers

Prangers are experimental musicians and sound artists from Rochdale. Known for chaotic and engergetic live performances, using chopped field recordings, pitched samplers, found percussion and echo heavy tape loops over spoken word to create a moody rural-industrial sound.

Project description

Prangers will use the Open Fund for Music Creators grant to record and experiment with a collection of historic local industrial artifacts, and to showcase the material they come up with on a short run of gigs in England and Scotland.
