Short Project Title: Funding marketing for Rainy Miller’s second album.
Bio: Rainy Miller is the solo project of Preston-born, Manchester-based artist, producer and label head Jack Bowes. Focused on putting the spotlight onto the vibrant emerging scene of the North West, Rainy founded his label FIXED ABODE in 2020 as a platform to showcase the wealth of local talent, whilst producing for and collaborating with artists such as Blackhaine, Space Afrika, Blood Orange and Mica Levi. Creating deeply personal music that marries fragile, delicate moments with visceral, aggressive energy, Rainy has drawn critical-acclaim and a loyal following for his uncompromising and impactful releases, collaborations and immersive live performances. His career to date has seen best album nods from Crack Mag, Dazed, Mixmag, The Quietus and 6 Music, as well as support from Pitchfork, Fact, RA, The Face and collaborations with A-Cold-Wall, Moncler, Stone Island & CP Company.
