Rebecca Hurn: Open Fund for Music Creators

Creation of debut album working solely with female producers!

Rebecca Hurn is creating her debut album with the hope to work solely with female producers to close the gender gap in the music industry. Rebecca Hurn is a global award winning singer-songwriter from South Wales. Her debut EP ‘Waves’ was awarded as ‘Best Song’ at Cardiff Music Awards and ‘Best Folk Song’ in New York City’s Independent Music Awards. Rebecca is only one of two UK artists to be awarded this, the other being Passenger with ‘Let Her Go’. Recently awarded ‘Best Songwriter’ in the UK Songwriting Competition, Rebecca Hurn is not one to miss. Recently headlined at Isle of Wight festival, Rebecca was the only independent artist to headline the festival. Performing new single ‘Panic’, which has received airplay across the globe, Rebecca creates an ‘intimate yet crowd drawing performance’. Rebecca is repeatedly found in the BBC A-List playlists, where listeners are hypnotised by her ‘haunting vocals’ and ‘thought provoking melodies’ and described by BBC as ‘a national treasure’. Rebecca is heavily connected to the musical avenues of New York City, turning heads at renewed venues home to some of the biggest stars of our century, Lady Gaga, Lana Del Ray, Joni Mitchell. Supported and awards by The NYC Songwriters Circle, the love for the city is mirrored in Rebeccas songwriting which has matured to a prolific height. Rebecca has mastered her matured musical routes and has created a body of work worthy of a debut album release, due late 2022.
