Concise Project Description : To organise, promote and deliver events supporting Women’s music in the North West, scaling up my events and increasing visibility for female conscious folk artists.
Biog : Sisters of Song is a music and events organisation promoting women’s music and seeking to address gender imbalance within live music. The grant will enable us to upscale our events by booking established musicians, supporting emerging songwriters and bringing new audiences to grassroots venues. After a year of building Sisters of Song , we now look forward to an exciting summer ahead of events, thank you to this fund for supporting us!
