Artist Marketing Manager

“My journey started at WePlugGoodMusic and Link Up TV as a journalist, interviewing the likes of Aml Ameen, Maaly Raw, Giggs, Cadet, C Biz and more. I was then recruited by House of Solo Magazine to be the Music Editor, responsible for honing in the music talent to be included in the print and online features. This included a range of local and global stars, such as G-Eazy, Metro Boomin, Sabrina Carpenter, Nina Nesbitt, Michael Dappah, and many more.

I then joined Black Butter as a Marketing Intern, assisting the team across its roster (J Hus, Zara Larsson, Bakar, French Montana and more). After showcasing my strong work ethic and marketing capabilities within the first half of the internship, I was given the responsibility to lead campaigns for both K-Trap and Young T & Bugsey, achieving a Top 40 album and Top 10 single (Platinum selling) respectively.

I’m now at The Orchard as an Artist Marketing Manager and have worked across a roster of exciting talent, such as NSG, BackRoad Gee, Giggs, Chip, Cashh, B Young, DoRoad and more. My role revolves around being the main conduit for all communications between the artist/management and the team, and putting together creative marketing campaigns for artist single/project rollouts.”

“What I ultimately aim to do through my work in music is to serve and be a testimony for people that look like me and are trying to make substantial strides in the music industry, ensuring I glorify God every step of the way!

It’s an honour to be part of the POWER UP network, as the synergy created through Black creators/executives consistently sharing knowledge, can only result in the acceleration of ones development.Reece Stewart
