Bio: Jaded Radio is a digital broadcast platform and arts collective founded by Reese Wake. Reese Wake is a North East-based journalist and musician, dedicated to documenting and platforming Northern creative counter-culture. She is an audio journalist and a keen documentarian, also working in music journalism in the magazine space. Wake is also the frontwoman of vintage indie-rock band Alvo Jade (supported by Generator’s First Notes program). Her work often centres around art, class, place, ambition, and community. Wake is building a home ground, Jaded Radio is a self-sustained digital station where Northern creatives can ground themselves and share work on their own terms, and where alternative music, investigative journalism, and artistic community live under one roof.
