Three Welsh Songs by Huw Watkins: Resonate

About the piece

Three Welsh Songs is an audacious re-telling of three traditional Welsh folk songs. As songs without words, the composer’s imaginative writing is multi-layered, combining both beauty and agitation. Audiences will enjoy hearing this distinctive interpretation of familiar melodies in performances across Wales, coinciding with traditional St. David’s Day celebrations.
