Roller Trio are a collaborative band who combine contemporary jazz and rock traditions creating a powerful and accessible blend of conventional and experimental sounds. Their original compositions consist of beautiful evocative songs, groovy riffs, thrashy noise and electronic soundscapes creating seminal and atmospheric music. Their line-up is made up of immensely talented young musicians James Mainwaring on tenor saxophone and electronics, Luke Wynter on guitar and Luke Reddin-Williams on Drums. They are 2011 winners of the Peter Whittingham Jazz Award and their debut album is coming out on the F-ire label.
