Ruby Duff: International Showcase Fund (SXSW 2025)
The Ivor Novellos at the IMPF Songs (AGP), and participating at established international camps Universal Music Group 100% Her (LDN), Roda Music (CH), and Republic (ROM). These opportunities have yielded notable successes, including writing credits for The NBA Women’s basketball Series and Brian McFadden’s album (Westlife). With her artist project, Ruby has gained significant support from the likes of The BBC, renowned playlisting (NMF) and syncs with commercial series (ITV). Her work has also received press coverage from esteemed publications including NPR (US), Wonderland and Notion.
With the PRS Foundation funding, Ruby can now make her US writing debut with a coveted spot at the SXSW (Austin) Songwriting Camp. This opportunity will enable her to meet with key A&R, build on existing US label and industry relationships and expand her network of producers and musicians. Furthermore, it will introduce her to future SXSW Festival and US based connections and opportunities. Although this will be her first time attending the SXSW festival, it is clear that this is just the beginning of an exciting new chapter for Ruby Duff.
