Rudi Zygadlo: The Open Fund for Music Creators
Artist, musician and all round mercurial trickster, Rudi Zygadlo has formed a new troupe of Glasgow based musicians for his forthcoming album. Grungey, unruly pop with anthemic hooks, big drums, guitar wizardry, irreverent vocals and exhilarating musical interludes form the backdrop to songs about bathing, divorce bills, Thelma, Louise and climate change. ‘Rudi Zygadlo Live at Dystopia’ will be a series of filmed live performances of new songs in the run up to the 2021 album release, showcasing his vibrant new band in all its elastic theatricality.
Rudi has been releasing music since 2010 on labels such as Mad Decent and Planet Mu. His music ranges from pop songs to string quartets, via jingles, soundtrack and sound design. Rudi attended RedBull Music Academy in New York and has since cowritten and produced for an array of artists. Another of his musical projects, Lully, has also notched up millions and zillions of streams of its own.
