Bio: Sage Todz is a North Welsh rapper and R&B musician currently based in Cardiff. Born in Essex and raised in the valleys of North Wales, Sage speaks Welsh fluently and naturally incorporates his multiple languages, cultures and energies into his sound. Yoruba blood, Essex Birth and Wales upbringing. His catalogue reflects his life experiences and expresses his heritage, upbringing, identity and childhood traumas. Sage first gained public attention on social media after posting a Welsh language freestyle which quickly gained over 800,000 views between Twitter, Tiktok and Instagram. He has had a massive few years, which has led him to many exciting music collaborations including Welsh Music Prize nominated album. Additionally, Sage joined forces with the Football Association of Wales (FAW), to release “O Hyd”, a homage to Dafydd Iwan’s famous Welsh protest song Yma o Hyd. With over a 1,000,000 streams total on Spotify and counting as well as co-signs from NSG, BBC1xtra, Kojey Radical and the late Jevon, Sage is paving the way for a new sound within Welsh music. Sage is has been featured in the The Times, Channel 4, RedBull Mic Flex, ITV, BBC, The Telegraph and has supported Yxng Bane, DDouble E, Lady Leshurr, and more including Ants live.
