Project Title: Smith & Liddle – Album No 2 (Recording & Promotion)

Bio:

Smith & Liddle, hailing from the North East of England, burst onto the scene this year with their debut album, ‘Songs For The Desert’. It has received phenomenal reviews from the likes of Rolling Stone and Shindig Magazine and has had plays on BBC Radio 6 and ‘Track Of The Weeks’ on BBC Music Introducing. The duo signed two major licensing deals with German label ‘Légère Recordings’ and Japanese label ‘P-Vine’ who oversee the digital and vinyl distribution of the album and worldwide promotions. After starting their project at the start of 2025, they hit the ground running by heading on a summer UK and EU tour with fellow ‘Légère ‘ artists Young Gun Silver Fox, playing a sold out Mojo Club in Hamburg too. Off the back of this, Smith & Liddle also headed out on their own mini UK tour at the end of October playing cities like London and Newcastle and supporting artists like MT Jones.

With an EU tour of their own booked for January with their full band including a show at the legendary ‘Paradiso’ in Amsterdam, the duo plan to head back to the studio to start working on their second album. Forming a strong partnership with producer, Josh Ingledew, Smith & Liddle want to record another full length album to release in late 2026/early 2027 and to continue working with their two licensing labels. The PPL Accelerator Fund will help them do this and cover studio recording/mixing/mastering and promotional costs.
