Smooth Fuego: Power Up Industry Professional

Smooth Fuego is a DJ, event organiser, radio plugger, artist manager and one of the most active tastemakers for R&B in the UK, solely founding and operating the artist platform/development/management and live events company 360RnB which has organised a number of different concerts (including the first international show and only two UK headline shows for Swedish R&B superstar Cherrie and the biggest strictly new UK R&B concert in the UK at O2 Islington Academy), EP/Press Launches and promo days.

He has a strong passion for R&B even previously presenting a guest R&B mix show on BBC 1Xtra for Xtra talent (plus a number of guest mixes) and is determined to highlight and showcase new R&B from across the world, which has recently been disregarded representation wise for other genres. He also has a strong passion for his own Caribbean heritage and is determined to increase representation of Caribbean culture within the music industry in the UK, which has declined massively (in a background & foreground way), he also manages artists and develops a number of different grassroots artists and DJs (who have gone on to DJ internationally and on every radio station).

Smooth’s purpose in life is to help others succeed in the music industry and not have to go through the struggles he has suffered himself from racism to breaking into such a londoncentric industry as an outsider by creating a structure that others can benefit from, being a part of power up will help him in achieving this.
