London based soul/pop artist Stella Talpo couples up with jazz/electronic producer Lewis Moody [GoodMood / Sunny Reyne / 30/70] again for the follow up EP to 2022’s release, ‘FINE’. The collaborative duo that brought loved tracks ‘Water’, ‘Where Did I Go’ & ‘Tarantino’ to light are coming together to breathe life into Stella’s next project that will similarly be led by 2 singles.
Born in a small town outside Milan, raised in Singapore and now based in London, Stella Talpo has wanderlust woven into her bones. Influenced by a wide range of artists from Billie Holiday to Nirvana, she gracefully traverses genres, with her poignant lyrics addressing themes from addiction and human behaviour to politics. Stella made her stamp in the soul/rnb scene with her 2020 release, ‘first burn’, but it wasn’t until her long-awaited follow up record, ‘FINE’, that the artist fully came into her own. Stepping into a new energy with a reinvented sound, the 6 track release succinctly displays her talent as a lyricist and vocalist, delivering smart, introspective prose through her smoky, alluring vocal; confirming Stella is really only just getting started and a name we’ll be seeing a lot more of in the months to come.
