‘A Little Book of Monsters’ is a 35 minute work for large children’s chorus, commissioned in two versions for 4-player ensemble or chamber orchestra. It will take the form of a suite of interlinked songs, setting original lyrics by poet Matt Harvey, performed by very large groups of children aged 10-12 alongside professional musicians.
Stephen Deazley is an Irish born composer and educationalist, based in Scotland. He is widely acknowledged as a champion of music and music education for children and young people.
