The award has allowed Jamal the chance to travel to the United States to showcase for the first time. He intends to network with other performers and share his considerable talent. He also intends on absorbing the culture and artistry on offer from the other artists at the festival, and expanding on his success so far, which includes multiple plays from the BBC.
