Cheltenham Festivals are dedicated to promoting excellence in, and enjoyment of, the arts and sciences. We create a multitude of vibrant cultural experiences across science, the arts and education every year. Engaging people locally, nationally and internationally. We pride ourselves on producing distinctive, cutting edge programming offering a range of genres, creating performance opportunities for emerging talented musicians, celebrating the work of established artists and commissioning unique and surprising performances across our Jazz and Music Festivals.
As Talent Development Partners, we will continue works on our Jazz Festival which features new music from music creators in jazz and related genres at a range of career levels, offering them mentoring and guidance, and developing new thinking in jazz and sound art through our Musical Encounters strand.
We will continue to find and nurture artists who will be the next wave of talent – helping talented artists to tackle the challenges they face creatively, mentally and professionally – and allow them to succeed. Events such as our 1-to-1 clinics, Hack Day and Composer Academy allow us to capitalize on the festivals’ status as an industry hub and harness our potential as an incubation space for artists.
