Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival: Talent Development Partner 2018

Hcmf is the UK’s foremost festival dedicated to contemporary, new and experimental music, and is recognised worldwide as one of the most important festivals of its kind for the quality and innovation of its artistic programme and high production values. Over 10 days each November, hcmf not only provides access for audiences in the UK to enjoy and celebrate the best of British new music, but an opportunity for British music creators to present their work alongside composers and ensembles of the highest international standard.

In partnership with PRS Foundation Hcmf will work across a broad spectrum of contemporary music practice, including composed music, improvisation, electronic music and sound art by supporting established music creators through commissioning and touring as well as providing development opportunities through our shorts scheme, enabling practitioners to gain professional experience in an international context.
