Heart n Soul: Talent Development Partner 2019

Heart n Soul is an award-winning creative arts company and charity. We believe in the power and talents of people with learning disabilities, providing opportunities for people to discover, develop and share this power and talent as widely as possible. We also have a lot of fun!

Heart n Soul develops the talents and power of music creators with learning disabilities. We work across genres including indie, pop, electronic, soul, hip-hop, jazz and classical music. Promoting collaboration between music creators with and without learning disabilities is central to our approach. We empower people with learning disabilities to take creative ownership over their music, and have a deepening influence in the music technology industry.

Keep on Moving, funded by PRS Foundation, will support established Heart n Soul music creators including Lizzie Emeh, Too Hot for Candy and bands which have emerged through our artist development programme. They will experiment with their sound, create and record new material, engage in new collaborations, develop as independent artists and grow their audience base through performances and touring. In 2019, Lizzie Emeh will be releasing a new EP, Dean Rodney Jr will have a leading role in Ravioli Me Away’s new multimedia opera and Too Hot for Candy will continue to write and record new tracks.
