Jazz re:freshed has been delivering strong, supportive talent discovery and development platforms for bands for some years now.
JAZZ RE:FEST is an annual one day celebration/showcase of emerging and established UK Jazz talent. The music creators we support are a great representation of what is exciting in UK Jazz. These artist are all at various stages in their careers and level of profile. It has become a destination event in the Jazz/non Jazz calendar attracting audiences up to 5000 over the years and having now moved it to Brighton and continuing to offer a full day of world class talent for less than the price of a train ticket to Brighton!
Jazz re:freshed are also equipping young and diverse artists from around the UK the universal currency of physical and digital product to their independent artist toolkit, enabling them to create, maintain and grow relationships with national and international audiences, media, music business industry and ultimately supporting their journey from emerging to mid-scale/established artists.
Jazz re:freshed aim to support young and/or diverse emerging artists (formally and informally trained) who may otherwise have barriers to access this type of support. The aim is to enhance their chance of longevity in the industry and equip them with some of the tools to manage their own careers.
