OTO Projects CIC: Talent Development Fund 2020

OTO Projects manages the programme at Cafe OTO the UK’s only dedicated venue for experimental music with a year round programme seven nights a week.

OTO Projects promotes engagement and participation with new music through the delivery of live performances, residencies, digital platforms, workshops and discursive events. It also supports new music that exists outside of the mainstream. The programme is diverse covering contemporary classical, free jazz, electronic music, sound art and free improvisation to name a few. Uniting all these strands is a focus on risk taking and experimentation.

The career level of musicians OTO projects work with varies wildly coving everything from established performers, mid-career musicians, to obscure emerging artists.

2020 -2021:

OTO projects work with artists from all over the UK and overseas –  trying to ensure that the programme isn’t overly London focused and trying to highlight the many interesting scenes that develop across the UK.
