The Roundhouse Trust: Talent Development Partner 2019

The Roundhouse is recognised as one of the UK’s leading music venues, offering unparalleled creative and music opportunities to nearly 6,000 young people each year.

With the support of the PRS Foundation as a Talent Development Partner The Roundhouse will continue their Roundhouse Rising Programme for Young Music Creators. This includes their annual festival for emerging artists Roundhouse Rising. Rising Sounds, which offers 12 artists the chance to work with a leading industry producer. Rising Presents – a series of gigs highlighting the best in emerging music, and Music Industry Insight Days and Music Masterclasses, which give advice on breaking into the industry.

Being a Roundhouse Resident Artist really helped me raise my profile in the music industry and grow creatively. It opened up a world of next level performance opportunities, workshops and insights into my online presence, and access to spaces and equipment that has led to me making more music than ever. A highlight was performing at Roundhouse Rising Festival – the set was professionally filmed, so now I have a great showcase for my work which I’ve used to pursue further platforms. I’m really excited to continue my relationship with the Roundhouse and am so grateful for their support through my career.” – Saachi Sen, former Roundhouse Resident Artist
