Taneisha Jaxxon: Hitmaker Fund
Grammy-nominated songwriter Taneisha Jackson, born in Jamaica, moved to England at the age of 9 where she was raised in the heart of South East London. With a love of old-school soul and funk, as well as pop and dance, Taneisha is one of the UK’s most exciting young songwriters and on course for major success.
Taneisha’s first notable cut was ‘A Place Called World’ which was recorded by John Legend and later became the soundtrack to an international campaign by San Miguel. Taneisha also wrote Eve’s first release in 6 years, ‘Reload’ featuring Konshens, which landed a huge sync with EA Games.
She’s currently working on new material with various artists, producers and songwriters such as Cathy Dennis (Kylie Minogue, Katy Perry), Jorgen Elofsson (Kelly Clarkson, Jennifer Lopez), Sky Adams (Doja Cat, Kylie Minogue, Sigala) and has also been writing for the K-Pop market.
One of her most notable cuts, ‘Cheatin’ by Nathan Dawe, which samples Deborah Cox’s ‘It’s Over Now’, has surpassed 46 million streams on Spotify making it her most successful cut to date.
Most recently, Taneisha was nominated for 2 Grammy Awards as part of her contribution to Doja Cat’s album ‘Planet Her (Deluxe)’ – Album of The Year & Best Pop Vocal Album.
