Tees Music Alliance (TMA) (TDN)
Tees Music Alliance is a not-for-profit social enterprise, working out of the Tees Valley in the north-east of England. We run two music venues, a recording studio and a regular programme of gigs and festivals – underpinned by a team of music industry advisors and mentors – all helping to sustain a vibrant music scene for our area.
With the support of the PRS Foundation, we are now able to deliver a 3-pronged approach to supporting music creators living or working in the Tees Valley area of north-east England. An annual 6 day music industry residency for music creators – offering an intensive programme of song writing, recording, and performance; supported by music industry advice sessions, bespoke advice, and continuous post-event mentoring. A one day music industry conference open to music creators and supporting agencies, presenting a range of workshops and keynote presentations covering areas of interest to people working in or hoping to enter the music industry ‘pipeline’. A programme of ongoing regular advice, information and mentoring sessions for music creators. Our talent development programme will integrate seamlessly with each of our other activities including our regular programme of gigs and festivals and our music industry networks.
