Tess Hirst: Women Make Music

Tess Hirst is a natural story-teller who’s lyrics are uncompromisingly honest and layered. On 1st November 2019, Tess released her debut album ‘These Days’ with award-winning bassist Daniel Casimir via pioneering London-based record label, Jazz re:freshed.

Following the cancellation of performances at festivals such as SXSW, Love Supreme and We Out Here, Tess has used 2020 to write brand new material. Before the year is finished Tess will record a brand new album with some of London’s finest musicians whilst continuing to narrate the way through this political and cultural landscape.
