The Cumnock Tryst: The Open Fund for Organisations

The Cumnock Tryst is a multi-award-winning arts organisation which has evolved from a 4-day international festival into a year-round producer of concerts, events and engagement opportunities for local, national and international audiences, musicians and participants.

The Cumnock Tryst will commission two new works. Matthew Grouse will receive his first orchestral commission from The Cumnock Tryst, to be performed by The Scottish Chamber Orchestra to celebrate the opening of a brand new concert hall in Cumnock. Phillip Cooke will write a new work for The Cumnock Tryst Festival Chorus, two pianos and percussion, ensuring that our network of highly committed local singers are given the opportunity to perform world-class music alongside world-class musicians.
