Dominic Lyttle: The Writer Producer Fund
Dom Lyttle, known as the Producer’s Producer, at the age of 21 has already racked up over 300 million streams on his productions, and has received worldwide airplay working with artists such as Sam Feldt, NERVO, Möwe and Conor Maynard just to name a few.
He has also done official remixes for the likes of Rita Ora, Anne-Marie, Ed Sheeran, Camila Cabello, Juke Ross and many more.
As well as his work for other people, Dom also has 2 artist projects, “Decoy!” and “Jameson”. These are projects in which he can express his personal creativity.
From the small town of Loughborough, at the age of seven he learnt to play the Piano, along with the Trombone, Guitar, and an array of other instruments. His calling for music production first came to light at age twelve when he was invited to play the trombone and sing on a charity album at Abbey Road Studios in London. From then on Dom was infatuated with recording, controlling and manipulating audio.
From the age of twelve Dom worked hard on his productions and began picking up recognition and fans on his Soundcloud page. From there on he has been picked up by major player labels such as Warner Music, Sony Music, Atlantic Records, Armada Music, Disco:wax, Asylum and Monstercat.

I’m thrilled that the PRS Foundation’s Writer/Producer Fund has chosen to help finance my studio upgrades. For the past 5 years, I have been working off a Laptop. Whilst it has been fine for light projects, it hasn’t coped well with larger projects with multiple CPU-intensive sample libraries.
It becomes incredibly tiring having to constantly render large chunks of projects to audio, especially when I’m in the studio with other writers/artists as it disrupts everyone’s creative flow. This is why the Writer/Producer Fund is going to have a massive impact on my creative output as a producer, as they will be funding a brand new, high spec’d desktop tower for me to work from.
On top of this, the fund will be providing brand new studio equipment, including reference studio monitors, outboard gear, and a new audio interface. I’m incredibly grateful to the whole PRS Foundation team.
