One of the hardest working live bands in the UK, To Kill A King – Ralph Pelleymounter (vocals/acoustic guitar), Josh Platman (bass), Josh Taffel (drums), Grant McNeill (electric guitar), and Ben Jackson (synth and keys) – have performed as part of The Great Escape, Dot to Dot, Hyde Park British Summertime, Rolling Stone Weekender Festival and Reeperbahn in Germany, Reading & Leeds, Bestival and Leefest (amongst others).
To Kill A King were main support to Bastille on their March & October 2013 UK tour as well as November’s European Tour. They have also supported The Flaming Lips and Bastille at the Brighton Dome & Dog Is Dead on their April 2013 tour. They performed their own headline dates in the UK, selling out London’s Scala and KOKO as well as shows in Munich, Brussels, Hamburg, Cologne and more, and contributed to Bad Blood, Bastille’s breakthrough album, most notably on the track being the band’s song “Pompeii.”
