Tony Burrata: The Hitmaker Fund
Tony is going to spend the Hitmaker grant on paying for studio rent and getting some piano lessons
Tony Burrata, began his musical journey as an engineer under the stewardship of Jamie Scott, earning engineering credits on four #1 chart-topping records by artists Niall Horan, Tom Grennan, Westlife and Coldplay. Having honed his skills on major releases, Tony transitioned into the indie and alternative music scenes.
His passion for crafting compelling and unique soundscapes had an instrumental role in shaping the careers of emerging artists, including Low Lying Sun and Edie Bens which has led them to record deals with LAB Records and Glassnote Records respectively. His recent collaborations with Dolores Forever, Sophia Alexa and Carpark have cemented his reputation as a versatile and innovative writer/producer.
Tony is a multi-faceted musician who alongside his production work plays bass in his own band, The Motor Show. Current projects include work on the soundtrack for film ‘The DEB’ directed by Rebel Wilson; production work alongside producer Jonny Coffer; and upcoming releases with Endless Digital Birthdays, Ella Clayton and YV Shells (featuring Moses Boyd on drums).
