Warsnare/Dan Samsa: Open Fund for Music Creators

Composer, electronic music artist, and performer Dan Samsa combines the technique and rigour of classical training with the electronic and popular music of South East London. Merging Classical, Jazz, Afrobeat, Dance Music, Folk and Experimental Electronic styles, Contours, Samsa’s debut album under this name, combines 360° soundscapes with brass sextet, industrial synth bass, drums, vocals and Dan’s own virtuosic lead piano lines. Bursting with colour and vibrancy, the album will be recorded and performed in both conventional stereo and as a live 360° spatial immersive experience.

Dan Samsa is Associate Composer for Nonclassical creating orchestral music for the Southbank Sinfonia and 360° experimental electronic music. Under the moniker Warsnare, Samsa supported international artists (DJ Yoda, The Scratch Perverts), and performed at major festivals including Shambala, Secret Garden Party and Glastonbury. As Warsnare, he released three EPs and a highly acclaimed full-length album WARCHESTRA featuring Kate Tempest.
