Actor: Women Make Music
Actor is led by Louisa Osborn – a singer, guitarist and songwriter.
Supported by the PRS Foundation Women Make Music Fund, Louisa believes strongly in equality and has previously put on gigs in the local music scene promoting female led musicians. She’s also made public her feelings about sexism and chauvinist attitudes in music: one of Actor’s’ songs Feline is actually about a somewhat sinister ‘photographer’ on the local music scene who seems to only frequent gigs of female-led bands and make his uncomfortable presence a bit too…present. There is of course much more to her music that Actor are delighted PRS Foundation will be helping reach a wider audience in 2016!
