The Discovering E.P is a whole-hearted exploration of human nature, love and life from the perspective of a young artist living in the city. With a unique blend of Soul, Jazz and Blues, the record is set to establish Chloe Blackwell’s distinctive sound which combines classic grooves, catchy hooks and a passion filled vocal delivery. The collection of songs carries messages of purpose, self empowerment and discovery. Inspired by singers like Etta James and Whitney Houston, Chloe similarly has a timeless delivery that is often amiss in modern day music. With accompaniment from the best young undiscovered players the UK has to offer, Discovering will showcase virtuosic musicianship which matches Chloe’s vocal agility, bringing an exciting and fresh sound that carries energy and authenticity whilst exploring the boundaries of modern day production.

Though coming from a non-musical family, music has always been an integral part of Chloe’s drive and direction. Growing up in the midlands, near Birmingham, she moved to London at the age of 16 after being offered a place at the BRIT School of Performing Arts. Graduating from the BRIT school at the age of 19, she has since stayed in London to pursue her career as a songwriter and recording artist. Whilst earning her keep performing as a wedding singer across the UK, Chloe has been working on developing her original music and performing on the London live scene.
Her debut single Deadweight released in December 2015 scaled the iTunes Soul/R&B charts peaking at number 12.
